The key to high quality

It is our belief that the crew on board our vessels is the most important factor of successful ship management. In respect to both performance and economy, the ability and engagement of the crew are the keys to a high-quality operation. We stay focused on the recruitment process and endeavour to maintain seafarers within our pool by providing fair employment and sound working conditions on board our vessels. The majority of our seafarers are either on a running agreement or are regulars who return to the vessels after their vacation period, thus maintaining important continuity of operation.

The Lauritzen Fleet Management Maritime Personnel Department is responsible for the manning of all vessels under our management and for ensuring that seafarers with the required qualifications are available for each vessel.
