Recruiting talents in Singapore

On 26 January, J. Lauritzen Singapore attended the 2016 career fair at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. 

The NTU career fair is an annual event arranged by NTU for employers from various industries to showcase their companies. This is the third consecutive year that J. Lauritzen Singapore attends the event in order to attract and engage with young talents with a maritime background and promote the company’s trainee programme.

Managing Director of J. Lauritzen Singapore, Martin Sato together with four former NTU students, who are now key employees at J. Lauritzen Singapore, attended the career fair and engaged in dialogue with current NTU students, answering questions about J. Lauritzen and possible career opportunities.

Martin Sato elaborates on some of the benefits of attending the career fair; “I think the career fair offers a great opportunity for us to create awareness of the company and our activities and at the same time meet face-to-face with potential employees.

J. Lauritzen Singapore currently employs six NTU graduates. In addition, three NTU graduates are posted at the Stamford, Shanghai and Copenhagen offices, respectively.
